Yorgos’ Surly Long Haul Trucker Expendition

This was a really long project for Yorgos, that is planning on a long touring trip, living the life out on the adventure path. Together we him we planned and collected all of the components on this true expendition bike with a somewhat classic touring set up.

Surlys’ Long Haul Trucker, the best selling touring bike of the cycling industry offers a true comparative afvantage on the 26′ wheel size for riders of certain body build usually between 1,70-1,75 that prefer a weight allocation lower to the ground and closer to the bottom bracket.

We laced wheels using the Ryde rims, strong and reliable with Shimano easy to service open bearing hubs. The bike is build on a 3×9 Deore LX wide range gear that would carry Yorgos fully loaded easily even to the steepest peak.

Details on this would be the classic touring buterfly bar with Nitto bar plugs and black on black camo tape, Velo Orange stem and seatpost keeping the silver shiny parts game alive. Check out also the Schwalbe monstrous tyres and the MKS classic touring pedals.
