Stathis’ Brother Kepler

Stathis came into the shop with a Bianchi Via Nirone roadbike asking for a switch of discipline. Seeking dirt rides, wider tyres and rack mounts to enjoy Athens’ adventure possibilities.

We suggested Brother Kepler frameset made out of 4130 cromoly steel because of its use of rims brakes and the all around CX/adventure geometry on classic geometry (no slopping style). Kepler for 2017 came in this beautiful white to purple fade colour reminiscent of 90s design.

We fitted his groupset from his roadbike and updated some parts. Highlights are the Nitto s65 seatpost, VO stem hunger, Salsa collar and VIA canti-lever brakes a great option for powerful braking if you need to go silver.

Really nice build that is an ongoing project for Stathis with some more updates scheduled for summer.
