Vasiliki’s Surly Ghost Grappler

Vasiliki is an avid bikepacker, adventuring the greek mountains in short and long trips more than 10-15 times per year. She was riding an old conventional MTB bike and this time she wanted to create a targeted bikepacking MTB bike.

The process to build this bike was quite complicated given the circumastances of the use and availability of parts but we defenately loved the outcome. There are some exceptional details here: the Velo Orange Seine handlebar, handmade 27.5 wheels with Velocity Blunt on Shimano XT, Thomson stem and purple anodized allen bolts to name a few.
