Sid’s Brother Big Bro adventurer

 Brother Cycles monster adventure bike is called Big Bro and here it is in all of its glory.

Frameset is made out of 4130 cromoly steel and features eyelets that would support any kind of outdoor bike activity you can think of (racks, triple bottle, do-it-all bags etc.).

Sid is living on the island of Ikaria so this bike is meant to be used for generic commuting purposes and also bike camping in the wild. Ikaria has a lot of mountains and for this reason we decided to equip this bike with light gears (check out the massive 36 teeth cog) but also make it quite strong and heavy duty. We chose Shimano ZEE groupset known for its sharpness and beasty attitude paired with Avid disc brakes and rotors. We chose the ring to Absolute Black 32 teeth wide-narrow to avoid any chain failure and mounted the Continental Tour Ride 47c tyres for smooth gravel riding.

Rest of the bike is rounded up with Mavic Aksyum One Disc wheelset, Cinelli seatpost and stem, Easton wide bars and a Velo Orange saddle. Aesthetically we remained on the “orange is metal” tip with Oury grips and Yokozuna cables.

A different kind of off road bike that is our version of adventurer in the Greek islands.
