Danos’ Viva Tange complete

This is Danos’ Viva restoration project. Danos brought this bike out of the basement in need of total restoration. The paint job was done at Dr John’s paint studio and it is a RAL colour that Danos chose with no Pearl varnish in it. We laced a pair of Ambrosio track hubs on Mavic Open Pros with Surly cog on All City lockring – while for tyres we used Dia Compe’s Eine Ciclo tyres. For cockpit we used the original Viva dropbars on a Nitto stem with some Italian vintage bartape. This build is a classic example as to what kind of frames are liable to be done conversions. This was a Tange tubing quality build, naked from bosses and although the geometry is not steep it makes such a fine classy commuter. Nice one Danos!
