Apostolis’ Faggin city bike complete
This is an old Faggin frameset that was brought in to the shop for restoration. Apostolis used this bike back in the 90s as his first racing frame when he was racing in Kastro CC in his hometown in Crete. He decided to give this incredible frame a new life as a city bike. We restored and repainted the frame and used some stock parts that Apostolis brought in the shop. We fitted an Ambrosio Varo wheelset with Panaracer Pasela 28 tyres. We also used a 9 speed Shimano cassette to go with the Sram shifters that Apostolis brought in and fitted a 9 speed Shimano 105 rear deralleur. For cockpit we used an upright one inch black stem with a Soma Oxford bar and a Crane Bell to get himself heard while passing through. The saddle is Portland Design Works, one of the best city bike saddles out there. We love giving vintage bikes a new life and this build was special since it belonged to the same person. Ride on!
