Dimitri’s Colnago Master Mapei

This is a great project for us for a special customer that lives in North Greece. A special made Colnago, one of the few Colnago models still handmade in Italy. The frame was ordered custom made to Dimitris body specifications and it was ready after 3 months.

Dimitris asked for a classic bike with contemporary high end carbon parts and we couldnt agree more with this build. The Mapei paintjob is an iconic imagery in pro cycling and makes one of the best versions of this frame in our opinion. Great lugs wrapping the beautiful master polygonal tubes, fully pantographed all over.

We used a combination of Campagnolo Potenza and Chorus parts and laced Notorious 38 carbon rims to VIA hubs with ceramic bearings and fitted Panaracer Pasela 28s. A super detail for us was definitely the Zipp seatpost/stem combo with the monstrous carbon stem holding the sleak Soma HWY1 short and shallow bars.

A trully siiiq build. Not our first Colnago but surely our greatest.
